Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) – Cashless Payment 2026
1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the cashless payment system at HIVE Festival 2026.
Organiser: Victorius GmbH, Berlin
The system is operated by external service providers ( GET-Global Event Technologies GmbH ). The organiser remains the contractual partner.
2. Functionality
Payments are made exclusively via an RFID chip integrated into the festival wristband.
3. Contractual Relationships
Where goods or services are provided by external third-party suppliers, the organiser accepts no liability for the provision of such services.
The organiser only facilitates the payment process.
4. Registration and use
Registration in the event portal is required.
One account per ticket ID
The user is responsible for their chip
The chip is non-transferable
5. Top-up
Credit can be added:
Online via event portal/app (credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay)
On-site (cash, debit, credit cards)
All amounts are in EUR.
6. Use of credit
Credit is only usable on the festival site and is non-interest bearing.
7. Loss, Misuse and Transfer
The user is responsible until the chip is blocked.
Blocking becomes effective upon reporting the loss
No refund claim without prior registration
The organiser shall not be liable for any misuse prior to the loss being reported, unless the damage is due to wilful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the organiser.
Users must protect their chip from unauthorized access. Any transfer is at their own risk.
8. Technical Conditions
Transactions may in individual cases be recorded with a delay. The actual transaction carried out shall be decisive.
Displayed balances are for informational purposes and may differ from actual accounting data.
In exceptional cases, a negative balance may occur and must be settled by the user.
The organiser reserves the right to correct erroneous transactions.
9. Liability
Liability is limited to intent and gross negligence.
In case of breach of essential obligations, liability is limited to foreseeable damages.
This limitation does not apply to damages resulting from injury to life, body or health.
Any further liability is excluded.
10. System Availability & Force Majeure
No guarantee of uninterrupted availability.
Alternative processes may be used in case of technical issues.
The organiser shall not be liable for disruptions or limitations caused by force majeure, including but not limited to power outages, network failures, governmental orders, pandemics or other unforeseeable events beyond the organiser’s control.
11. Refund
Refunds are processed via the event portal or app.
Deadline: July 31, 2026
Payment within 14 days
Refunds are processed free of charge within a reasonable period.
Once the deadline has passed, the automated refund via the event portal may no longer be available. This does not affect the user’s statutory rights.
No carry-over to future events.
In case of early event termination, refund rights remain unaffected.
12. Fees
There are no charges for topping up or refunds.
13. Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws (GDPR).
14. Schlussbestimmungen
German law applies.
Place of jurisdiction, where legally permissible: Berlin.
Should any of the provisions of this contract be invalid or unenforceable, or become so after the contract is signed, the validity of the rest of the contract remains unaffected.
